Founded on 17 June 1994, the Business Recovery & Insolvency Practitioners Association of Nigeria (BRIPAN) is positioned as ‘the voice’ of professionals involved in business recovery and insolvency, promoting best practices for its members handling financially troubled individuals and businesses.

Our main services are Training, Advisory and Consultancy, while our core objective is to build a body of knowledge in business recovery and insolvency among our members and other stakeholders and, in so doing, promote quality assurance in the delivery of services by our members.

BRIPAN is an Observer at the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL) Working Group V meetings.

Membership
The membership consists of insolvency practitioners who are lawyers, accountants, bankers and other professionals. The number of members is more than 1000.
