INSOL International Training Programmes

INSOL and the Group of Thirty-six are currently planning two training programmes for local practitioners in Colombia and India.

Colombia has introduced new insolvency legislation adopting the Model Law on cross-border insolvency and India will be adopting new legislation in the near future.

INSOL was invited by the Ministry of Commerce in Colombia along with American Bar Association to develop a training programme to update the local practitioners about the Model law and to show how it has been used in particular cases and what effect the changes in legislation will have in Colombia.

We have a full week’s programme of one-day seminars organised for Colombia. The programme will be repeated in the following cities on the 27 August in Bogota, 29 August - Cali, 30 August – Medellin and finally the 31 August in Cartagena. Colombia seminar pdf
