Said has over twenty years experience in corporate recovery and turnaround. Before joining Grant Thornton he worked for Pricewaterhouse-Coopers and Ferrier Hodgson where he developed his specialisation in turnaround and corporate restructuring. Following completion of his MBA at the AGSM he is well equipped to assist clients in tackling not only operational and imminent liquidity problems they may be facing but more importantly the underlying strategic issues around their business. With an industry focus on financial services as well as mining and resources, Said has provided the full range of services to clients from investigative accountant, pre-lending due diligence and solvency reports through to receiverships and voluntary administrations. Said has recently been leading the cross border liquidation of Centaur, a litigation funding business which operated across UK, Caymans, Asia and Australia and which failed due to fraud and misappropriation.
