Paul van Eyk has been involved for over 15 years in financial advisory services for domestic and international clients. He is a specialist in financial advisory services including insolvency and restructuring, turnaround consulting, investigative and forensic accounting, and due diligence. Paul has managed a number of engagements across a variety of industries such as mining, financial services, gaming and casinos, construction and engineering, life sciences, manufacturing, aerospace, food and beverage, and automotive. Paul has served as an expert witness in both Canadian and U.S. insolvency proceedings and has led high-profile, complex and precedent-setting restructurings such as Barzel Industries, Japan Airlines, CPI Plastics, and Comstock Engineering. He is also very active in the Canadian gaming industry, having advised a number of government clients along with private sector clients on modernization and due diligence matters. Current Position and Responsabilities Paul joined Richter in 2013 to launch Richter Advisory Group Inc. in Toronto. He supports clients with a variety of specialized services, from restructuring, crisis and risk management, M&A, financing, performance improvement, cost reduction and change management. Paul is a sought-after speaker at many industry and professional events, and has presented at events for the Ontario Bar Association, Risk Management Association, CAIRP, and industry events such as the Canadian National Gaming Conference.
