With more than 13 years of experience in the restructuring and judicial reorganisation area, Tozzini Freire’s parter Liv Machado assists local and foreign clients in credit restructuring in judicial reorganization cases, as well as in out-of-court and insolvency proceedings. She also assists investors in the acquisition of distressed assets and companies in financial distress.

She is a graduate of the Law School of PUC-SP (Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo); holds a specialised degree in Corporate Law from PUC-SP; an LL.M. degree from PUC-SP; and also attended the INSOL International’s Global Insolvency Practice Course.

Liv is a member of the Latin America Committee of INSOL; Chair of IWIRC Brazil; member of the Bankruptcy and Judicial Reorganization of IBRADEMP (Brazilian Institute of Corporate Law);
