INSOL Head of IT & Cyber Security

Position Overview:
As Head of IT & Cyber Security at INSOL you will play a crucial role in ensuring our IT systems and processes run smoothly, working with our third-party providers to continuously improve our IT systems and processes. You will optimise technology to improve efficiency and enhance our member and stakeholder experience.
Reporting to the CFO/COO the role will be remote with occasional trips to our London office as required.
Key responsibilities will be to:
- Work with the CFO/COO and CEO to develop and deliver the INSOL IT and cyber security strategy to deliver operational efficiency and optimise resources.
- Manage third-party technology partners, vendors and service providers to: - Oversee IT infrastructure.
- Improve resilience.
- Monitor SLAs and ensure excellent support levels.
- Own the cybersecurity roadmap, including internal security awareness and training initiatives.
 
- Leverage AI and new technology to streamline processes and improve user experience.
- Upgrade existing databases working alongside CFO to improve process, efficiency and insights.
- Leverage latest technological developments to support our marketing effort in optimising the impact of our website & social media channels.
- Continuously improve our INSOL website and related applications to enhance accessibility, improve connectivity to other systems and engage the team
- Lead GDPR compliance and cyber security measures, leveraging our third-party providers.
Essential skills required:
- Proven experience in senior IT roles with responsibility for IT systems, cybersecurity and GDPR.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, cloud systems and transformation, service delivery and enterprise systems.
- Experience managing budgets, contracts and third-party vendors.
- Track record of improving user experience through reliable, responsive IT solutions.
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communicator and team player who can collaborate across INSOL to drive results.
Desirable skills:
- Experience of implementing a CRM is preferred but not essential.
- Certifications in CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001, ITIL or Prince2 are desirable.
- Previous experience with AI/automation adoption
- Oversight of a company web and social media strategy.
- Experience supporting digital and web-based engagement tools, ensuring secure and effective integration with organisational systems.
