Position Overview:
As Education Manager at INSOL International, you will mainly be required to work as part of a team that plans, develops, implements and runs courses for INSOL International.
The ideal candidate will be a team player, technologically literate and have excellent communication skills. The role is a full-time position and offers flexibility with a competitive salary. While the role is not location-specific, the successful candidate will be expected to work UK office hours.
Reporting to the Head of Education, the role will be remote with occasional trips to our London office and other overseas destinations as required. Notice for travel will be provided.
Key responsibilities will be to:
Work with the Head of Education in planning, developing, implementing and running INSOL’s educational offerings.
In particular, the successful candidate will be expected to act as Course Leader for the Foundation Certificate in International Insolvency Law, dealing with all aspects of the course, including liaising with students, lecturers and authors.
The successful candidate may also be tasked with taking the lead on any of the existing or future jurisdiction-specific courses INSOL International runs in conjunction with member associations, as well as taking the lead on short courses that are presented as part of the INSOL suite of courses.
Essential experience and skills required:
The ideal candidate will be an academic, or a qualified insolvency practitioner / lawyer, with a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in the field of restructuring, insolvency and turnarounds.
Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communicator and team player who can collaborate across INSOL to drive results.
Excellent skills in the use of the Microsoft Office suite of applications, but especially Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Forms.
Strong IT system skills, as the successful candidate will be expected to be trained in the use of INSOL’s Education System.
Desirable skills:
Applicants with prior experience in curriculum / course design are encouraged to apply.
Experience in the use of video editing software, including the editing and rendering of videos, would be beneficial.
The role will develop over time and effective collaboration, networking and relationship building will be a key component.
