Ms. Orla McCoy
Orla practices in the area of corporate restructuring and insolvency, and is a Fellow of INSOL International (2017, with honours, first in class).
She has extensive experience advising bondholders, banks, private equity sponsors, government departments, secured and unsecured creditors and debtor corporations in relation to distressed situations and cross-border workouts. She also regularly acts for insolvency practitioners in relation to all aspects of formal external administration appointments. Orla has acted in many of Australia's most significant corporate restructuring and insolvency matters, including recent roles in the Napoleon Perdis Cosmetics empire, Foodora Australia, Custom Bus, Arrium and Network Ten matters.
Orla also has front-end international banking and finance expertise having worked for a leading international firm from 2006-2008 in its London and Amsterdam offices where she acted on a number of high-profile cross-border finance transactions.
