I started the activity as a lawyer, and from 1996 I was in practice as member of National Union of Advocates in Romania, giving legal assistance and representation before public authorities and courts. In 2004 I decided that public service was a good thing for me, and I went to exam organized by Ministry of Justice and National Institute of Magistracy. I worked as a judge dealing with civil, commercial and insolvency cases from 2004 until 2014. In June 2014 I applied for the bankruptcy bench at the Bucharest Tribunal, VII section, Romania.
I am Fellow INSOL International from 2018, Fellow European Law Institute from 2017, member of INSOL Europe from 2014.
I was involved in a research project: EU 800807 - JCOERE Project “Judicial Co-operation supporting Economic Recovery in Europe”, 2018-2020.
I have PhD in commercial law at Titu Maiorescu University, Bucharest, Romania (2015-2020), with research theme “Communication, cooperation and coordination in cross-border insolvency” (summa cum laudae).
I followed The INSOL International Global Insolvency Practice Course 2017-2018, the INSOL EUROPE High Level Course on Insolvency Law in Eastern European Jurisdictions 2017-2018, Bucharest, Romania, The Postgraduate Course in International Insolvency Law Distance Learning, Nottingham Trent University - Law School. I have been participant and expert at several national and international conferences and seminars.
