Ms. Diana Lucia Talero Castro
Diana Lucia Talero Castro is attorney at law with experience in commercial and insolvency matters, acquired by way of academic preparation and work experience at the Superintendency of Companies. In her tenure as Advisor to the Superintendent of Companies, especially in the area of Insolvency, Diana has been charged with the organization of the area, oversight and development of mandatory liquidation proceedings of commercial partnerships under the authority of the Superintendency of Companies, supervision and development of verbal briefing competence proceedings for the Superintendency of Companies, and with general knowledge of the various branches of the law that converge for development of a company, specifically around its insolvency and extinction. Member of the Drafting Commission of Law 1116 of 2006 (Colombian Insolvency Law), Diana participated in drafting regulatory decrees for Law 1116 of 2006, and as Secretary of Drafting Commission of Law 1116 of 2006 reform (Law 1429 of 2010). She is also Colombian delegate at UNCITRAL Working Group V and VI since 2007 to date, National Correspondent at UNCITRAL in cross-border insolvency matters, since 2007 to date, Coordinator for the Drafting Commission of Regulatory Decrees of Act 1116 of 2006 at the Superintendency of Companies and Secretary of Drafting Commission of Bill of Colombian Security Interests.
