Mr. Robert K Dakis
Robert K. Dakis is an associate in the New York office of Quinn Emanuel Urquhart Oliver & Hedges LLP where he practices in the firms Bankruptcy and Restructuring Practice Group. Mr. Dakis has experience in a wide range of corporate bankruptcy, restructuring and other insolvency related matters and has advised secured and unsecured creditors in many notable chapter 11 reorganizations, including United Airlines, Delta Airlines, Dana Corp. and Refco, Inc. Mr. Dakis has also represented debtors in both in-court and out-of-court restructurings. Mr. Dakis earned his law degree in 2004, magna cum laude, from Seton Hall University School of Law, where he served as an article editor on the Seton Hall University Law Review. Prior to entering private practice, Mr. Dakis was the law clerk to the Honorable Allan L. Gropper, a United States Bankruptcy Judge in the Southern District of New York.
